Major Responsibilities:
· Manage all reporting and submission deadlines to keep the non-profit in good standing in its various jurisdictions, namely, USA, Canada, and UK
· Fundraise via grants endowments bursaries foundations for ongoing operations
· Manage volunteer and outreach activity, such as, in the scientific community and other communities
· Help secure charitable status in the jurisdictions where it is still a not-for-profit, namely, Canada and UK
· Manage schedules including travel arrangements for team members
· Coordinate meetings and events
· Handle communication, and correspondence
Key Qualities:
· Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
· Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
· Strong business and written communication skills, fluent in professional written and spoken English (other languages in addition are an asset)
· Maturity, tact, and trustworthiness with sensitive information and high-profile situations
· Experienced grant writer with track record of success
· Proactive problem-solver
· Feel a need to contribute to making the world a better place
· A background in nonprofit administration is ideal but not required
· Flexibility, composure, and interpersonal adeptness
· Trustworthy and professionally-minded to handle sensitive and proprietary information
· Willing to take calls or attend virtual meetings on evenings and weekends
· As this job is fully remote, must have high speed internet access and home office set up for seamless remote work capabilities.
