Who We Are

BrightPoint for Children partners with Christian ministries around the world to ensure thousands of children receive an education, healthcare, and a path out of poverty. As a 501(c)(3) faith-based nonprofit with 19 years of experience, we serve as an extension of our partners’ teams, helping them build sustainable, scalable child sponsorship programs. Our network is growing, and we’re building the team to match.

Position Overview

Day to day, the work is detail-oriented and systems-driven. You’ll manage partner relationships, maintain accurate records, and keep multiple program workflows running smoothly across a portfolio of international child sponsorship programs, moving over $3 million annually to children and families in need. The impact behind that work is meaningful: keeping sponsors and children connected. This is a great fit for someone who finds satisfaction in doing detail work well, with opportunity to take on increased leadership in a mission-driven organization over time.

Key Responsibilities

1. Partner Relationships & Deliverable Oversight

  • Build strong, supportive relationships with assigned partners and manage timelines throughout the year
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors; ensure they receive timely and accurate information on behalf of our partners
  • Process and track sponsor-child correspondence and other updates
  • Prepare materials (using InDesign) and coordinate printing for partner events

2. Database Management

  • Maintain and update database records and correct discrepancies
  • Process sponsor changes (new sponsors, cancellations, updates, transitions)
  • Navigate internal systems to locate key program data and help partners understand how their program is performing

3. Team Support

  • Contribute to improving and refining processes as our programs and team continue to grow
  • Stay familiar with recurring processes and support the team in completing them efficiently

Required Qualifications

  • Alignment with BrightPoint’s faith-based mission and core values
  • Experience completing administrative tasks accurately while following detailed instructions
  • Comfort working in Excel and database systems
  • Proven ability to learn new software platforms quickly
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously without sacrificing quality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Valid driver’s license and legal authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supervising or delegating work to others
  • Familiarity with child sponsorship, donor management, or nonprofit operations
  • Recent Salesforce or other database experience
  • Adobe InDesign experience
  • Experience using AI tools, WordPress, or basic HTML
  • Spanish proficiency

Work Environment

  • Full-time, in-office role located in Marietta, GA (East Cobb). Remote and hybrid arrangements are not available at this time.
  • Small and close-knit team; you'll know everyone, contribute visibly, and work directly alongside leadership
  • Collaborative, shared workspace
  • Periodic lifting of boxes, duffle bags, and suitcases up to 50 pounds may be required
  • Office is located on the second floor with no elevator access

Benefits

  • Paid holidays in accordance with our established schedule
  • Paid vacation days
  • Professional development opportunities
