This is a working board position, meaning board members are expected to be active participants in helping grow and support the Foundation. We are looking for people who are willing to contribute their time, ideas, professional skills, community connections, and support to help move the organization forward in meaningful and sustainable ways.

Responsibilities
- Attend quarterly board meetings
- Support fundraising and sponsorship efforts
- Help build community partnerships and connections
- Assist with outreach, events, and Foundation initiatives
- Serve as an ambassador for the organization and its mission
- Participate in committees or special projects as needed
- Offer ideas, leadership, and professional expertise to support organizational growth
Qualifications
- Passion for supporting girls and women
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, engaged, and willing to actively participate
- Experience in nonprofit work, leadership, fundraising, education, business, marketing, finance, legal, or community engagement is a plus, but not required
- Desire to help grow and strengthen a mission-driven organization
Board Commitment
- Two-year board term
- Attend at least one board meeting each quarter
- Participate in fundraising, outreach, and organizational activities throughout the year
- Annual board contribution commitment of $1,200 through personal giving, fundraising, sponsorships, or in-kind support
