About this role

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Clinical Leadership

  • Provide high-quality, ethical counseling services consistent with licensure
  • Model excellence in clinical care, documentation, and client engagement
  • Support the development of a Christ-centered, clinically sound counseling culture
  • Ensure adherence to all ethical, legal, and professional standards

Team Development & Supervision

  • Recruit, interview, and onboard counseling staff
  • Provide or coordinate clinical supervision (as appropriate to licensure)
  • Mentor clinicians and promote ongoing professional development
  • Foster a collaborative, healthy team environment

Operations & Systems

  • Help establish and refine clinic workflows, scheduling systems, and policies
  • Monitor clinician productivity, caseloads, and utilization rates
  • Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations and payer requirements

Strategic Growth

  • Partner with leadership to grow the outpatient program
  • Identify staffing needs and support expansion efforts
  • Track and evaluate clinic performance metrics (caseload, revenue, retention)
  • Contribute to long-term vision and sustainability planning

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
  • Active Mississippi licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Commitment to ethical, high-quality clinical care

Preferred:

  • Prior leadership, supervisory, or program development experience
  • Experience in outpatient or community mental health settings
  • Comfort integrating faith and clinical practice in a professional setting
