ABOUT BCM GEORGIA
BCM Georgia is a housing nonprofit organization dedicated to keeping vulnerable families housed while building pathways to financial stability. Our core services include eviction prevention, family stabilization, and financial education. The Emergency Assistance Program offers financial assistance toward rent, mortgage, and utilities.
ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Part-Time Case Manager to provide case management within our Emergency Assistance Program. This is a grant-funded position, effective until October 31, 2026. It is a temporary role aligned with current grant funding and is not expected to become permanent. The hybrid remote schedule depends on program needs; in-person presence is required at least twice a month.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide case management services including assessment, planning, service coordination, and follow-up.
• Assist clients in accessing and navigating community resources and support services.
• Advocate for clients’ rights and ensure appropriate services and support are provided.
• Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation in accordance with program standards.
• Support households facing eviction risk and verify income/employment for financial assistance eligibility.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field (required); master's degree preferred.
• Licensed Bachelor Social Worker (LBSW), LMSW, or equivalent credential preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of case management experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates strongly preferred.
Experience in workforce development, behavioral health, or social services is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with Office 365 and familiarity with Salesforce and ClientTrack (or similar databases).
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques to boost client engagement and financial goal-setting.
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
SCHEDULE & LOCATION
• Schedule options: 8:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. or 10:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m., Monday–Friday.
• Work location: Hybrid remote in Atlanta, GA 30305.
COMPENSATION
• Hourly position earning $30/hour. No benefits.
