JOB SUMMARY The Program Manager will serve a critical role in the project management of the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center (APSTC). The program manager will work closely with members of the design and development team, the community, and other key stakeholders engaged in APSTC operations. This person will be responsible for effectively managing and leading all aspects of maintaining and continued development of a world-class facility for public safety professionals. In addition to construction project management experience, the right candidate will have a proven track record of managing various programs and projects with a demonstrated ability to learn something new. The position requires the ability to work with stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds including colleagues, law enforcement, donors, volunteers, and the public. The right candidate will also possess strong and creative written and verbal communication skills with an ability to successfully interface with the community. RESPONSIBILITIES ·        Project management, organization, planning, budgeting, evaluation, tracking and reporting

·        Management of collaboration with public safety agencies

·        Management of budget aspects of program development

·        Cultivate relationships with a variety of stakeholders including vendors and donors

·        As part of the APF team, support organization-wide development activities and events

·        Develop, deliver and run effective presentations and meetings·        Other projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS·        Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred (Business, Marketing, Program Management)

·        Eight plus years of program/project management experience required

·        Experience developing and delivering on project milestones

·        High attention to detail with proven ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities simultaneously and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

·        Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to work successfully with teams across the organization, including development and communications

·        Any marketing experience is a plus

·        Computer proficiency, particularly MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and PowerPoint

·        Some understanding of law enforcement culture and government operations
